A Support Group in Southeast Wisconsin for those who grieve the death of a loved one by suicide

Meeting Dates and Times

Our meetings are the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 7:45 at Christ Alone Lutheran Church in Thiensville, Wisconsin, at the corner of Main and Division Streets. Look for the library room within the school building, near the main entrance.

We hope we can see you there!

What is Wings of Hope?

Wings of Hope is a monthly support group that provides comfort for those who have lost a loved one due to suicide. We offer open meetings that include guided discussion in an atmosphere of acceptance. Our meetings are warm and welcoming and offer the sorrowing a special opportunity to express their sorrows and find sympathy and support to face the future.

All are welcome.

Meet the Hosts

Kurt and Connie Ebert started Wings of Hope as a way to help others who are going through the grief of losing a friend or family member to suicide.

Our Mission Statement

Wings of Hope exists to offer love, support, and hope to people whose lives have been touched by suicide.

Meeting Guidelines

  1. We are here to listen, care, and support one another in our grief.
  2. We especially grieve the deaths of those we love who have taken their own lives.
  3. This is an open support group. We welcome all. We may come and go as we wish.
  4. We are free to speak openly and constructively. We will listen to those who are speaking.
  5. We will not dominate the discussion so as to discourage others from speaking.
  6. No one will be compelled to speak. Everyone has the right to say "Pass" if we are going around the circle.
  7. We will protect each other's privacy. What is shared here will stay here.
  8. This is a non-sectarian support group. All are welcomed.
